  • Can I transfer my membership benefits to someone else?
Some benefits, like complimentary tickets, can be used by others. However, the membership itself and certain benefits (like member recognition) are non-transferable.
  • How long do memberships last?
WDPAC memberships are valid for one full year from the date of purchase. You'll receive renewal information before your membership expires.
  • How do I use my early access benefit for tickets?
Members receive email notifications about upcoming shows with instructions for accessing the pre-sale period. You'll need your membership ID to purchase tickets during early access.
  • How do I redeem my complimentary tickets?
Complimentary tickets can be redeemed by contacting the box office or through your online member account. We recommend booking early for popular shows to secure your preferred seats.
  • Are membership fees tax-deductible?
Yes, a portion of your membership fee may be tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. You'll receive documentation specifying the deductible amount for tax purposes.
  • Can I upgrade my membership level during the year?
Yes, you can upgrade your membership at any time. The additional cost will be prorated based on the remaining time in your current membership period.
  • What is the time commitment for volunteers?
Most volunteers sign up for 1-2 shifts per month, with each shift lasting 3-4 hours. We're flexible with scheduling and understand that availability may change month to month.
  • Are there accommodations for volunteers with disabilities?
Absolutely! The Ritz Theater is ADA compliant and we work with all volunteers to ensure they have roles that match their abilities and interests. Please let us know about any specific accommodations you might need.
  • Is training provided?
All new volunteers attend a one-hour orientation session where you'll learn about the theater, safety procedures, and your specific role. Additionally, you'll be paired with an experienced volunteer for your first shift.
  • Is there a dress code for volunteers?
Yes, volunteers typically wear black pants/skirts and a Ritz Theater polo shirt (provided after your first few shifts). Comfortable shoes are recommended as you may be standing for extended periods.
  • Where do volunteers park?
On event nights, we recommend arriving early as downtown Sanford can get busy.
  • Can groups or organizations volunteer together?
Yes! We welcome corporate groups, clubs, school organizations, and other groups to volunteer together. It's a great team-building activity. Contact us directly to arrange group volunteering opportunities.
